Padar Island

Pulau Padar is one of the most iconic destinations in Labuan Bajo, known for its dramatic hills and breathtaking panoramic views. From the top, you can see three stunning bays with different shades of blue, creating a landscape that feels almost unreal. Unlike other islands in the park, Padar has no Komodo dragons, making it a perfect spot to fully enjoy the scenery and peaceful atmosphere.
To reach the viewpoint, visitors need to do a short trek of around 30–45 minutes. The trail can be steep, but the reward at the top is absolutely worth it—especially during sunrise or sunset when the lighting enhances the beauty of the island. It’s recommended to wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and start early to avoid the heat and crowds.
A visit to Padar Island is usually included in sailing trips around Komodo National Park, often combined with stops like Pink Beach and Manta Point. Whether you’re chasing the perfect photo or simply looking to experience one of Indonesia’s most beautiful landscapes, Padar Island is truly unforgettable.
